Our approach is different

At The Education Effect, we use one on one tutoring as a method to connect with students, build confidence in their abilities, find motivation to study and empower them to learn.

We incorporate a personalised and unique approach to each student, because we realise that every student learns differently. Not only does this result in improved grades, one on one tutoring encourages students to explore future possibilities and believe in their own ability to succeed.

We offer a free, no-obligation first session to meet the student and establish strengths, weaknesses and goals in the subject. This time is used to establish a plan of action and provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other.

We understand how NCEA works, because we have been there ourselves! Having graduated high school with endorsements and experience in tutoring students of all levels, our tutors know what it takes to achieve well in NCEA.

Regular feedback

We believe that open communication with parents is the key to monitoring the student’s progress and allows everyone to know what is going on. That’s why we will provide you with regular lesson feedback after every session.
